About Ina Valley

The Mibu river runs through Ina Valley. The river water flows from melted snow and from the  water that oozes from lime rocks of  the Japanese Southern alps. The water is rich in minerals which makes it cloudy in appearance.

This valley, where the Mibu river runs through has a big difference in temperature between night and day due to an inland clime.

Our rice fields are located along the river and it is said that its mineral-rich water and the clime makes it suitable for growing Koshihikari.
